Heavy Machine Shifting
Relocate a single CNC, press, injection molder, or process skid with a surveyed path, certified lift plan, and door-to-door haul. Ideal when one critical asset must move without shutting the rest of the line.

What we do
HMT plans and executes heavy machinery moves for manufacturers who cannot afford improvisation. Whether you need one press shifted across a bay or a full plant relocated across state lines, we scope the path, write the plan, and finish on the ticket we sold.

On site
Every lift starts with a written plan — not a verbal “we’ll figure it out.” Our crews work beside your plant, EHS, and maintenance leads so production downtime stays on the schedule you approved.
We specialize in CNC centers, presses, injection molders, process skids, and line equipment that sit past the reach of a typical millwright crew or rental crane.
Core services
Six scopes cover most plant moves. Each includes a dedicated project lead, documented rigging plan, and a clear closeout — so ops knows exactly what landed and how it was set.
Relocate a single CNC, press, injection molder, or process skid with a surveyed path, certified lift plan, and door-to-door haul. Ideal when one critical asset must move without shutting the rest of the line.
Move an entire plant or production bay — inventory the assets, sequence the tear-down, crate and haul, then rebuild to print. One project lead owns the schedule from lockout to first-article.
Receive, uncrate, set, anchor, and level to manufacturer tolerances. We coordinate foundation checks, utility stubs, and torque documentation so your OEM or millwrights can pick up cleanly at power-on.
Engineered lifts for loads that exceed in-house crane capacity or sit in tight clearances. Written plans cover center of gravity, sling angles, spreader selection, and exclusion zones before any pick.
Install cells and linked lines in the order your start-up plan requires. Staging, temporary power, and phased handoffs keep commissioning from blocking upstream assembly.
Survey, rig, permit, haul, set, and assist commissioning under one ticket. Zero mid-job vendor handoffs — the crew that walks the path is the crew that signs the closeout.

Precision
Installation is not finished when the machine hits the floor. We stay through anchoring, leveling to spec, torque documentation, and a structured walkthrough with your operators or OEM techs.
If electrical disconnect or reconnect is in scope, we coordinate with your automation team so power-on is part of the plan — not a surprise punch list the week after we leave.
Extended capabilities
These scopes often pair with a core move. Tell us what else is on the critical path and we will fold it into the same ticket.
On-site assembly and alignment for presses, CNC lines, and modular process equipment shipped in sections.
New-facility installs from slab readiness through equipment placement and utility rough-in coordination.
Add capacity inside a live plant with sequenced outages, temporary reroutes, and floor-load verification.
Safe disconnect/reconnect, panel moves, and coordination with your controls team through power-on.
Stay through dry-run, punch-list, and operator walkthrough so the asset is production-ready at handoff.
Strip, label, crate, haul, and rebuild with full asset documentation so nothing is lost between sites.
Industries we serve
We work where a delayed set means lost shifts — not just a late delivery. Typical partners include:

Not sure which scope fits? Start with a site survey — we'll map door widths, floor loads, and crane clearances before anything moves.
